Integration
Before you begin
Before you proceed with the integration, make sure to have the already added:
- Custom tracking domain
- Offer source and Offer (if you’re an Affiliate)/ Brand and Website (if you’re an Advertiser)
- Conversion types you’re planning to work with
Integration steps
1. Add AppLovin template to RedTrack.
Traffic channels → New from template → AppLovin → Add → set up the Cost update depth → Save the template:
2. Integrate AppLovin and RedTrack.
2.1 In your AppLovin account go to Account → Keys → copy the Report Key:
2.2 Go to your RedTrack account → settings of the added AppLovin template → AppLovin API integration → add the copied AppLovin key to the Report Key field → Save changes:
3. Create campaign in RedTrack.
Campaigns → Create new campaign → use this guide (for Affiliates)/ this guide (for Advertisers) to help you create the campaign with AppLovin as your traffic channel. Once the campaign is ready make sure to:
- Enable the Auto update costs toggle:
- Copy the campaign’s tracking parameters to paste them in AppLovin:
– Universal script
– No-redirect
– Impressions
4. Add RedTrack tracking parameters to AppLovin.
When adding your Creative (Ad set) within campaign settings go to the Landing URL section → tick Use Custom Creative Landing URL → add your landing URL and append to it tracking parameters from RedTrack (copied in step 3) → Save:
